Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) takes up and organises a wide range of humanitarian and social activities throughout the year with the support of its sincere and dedicated team members.
Blood Donation
BDK actively works towards saving lives by arranging blood donors, conducting blood donation camps, and organising awareness campaigns to educate the public on the importance of voluntary blood donation.
Sneha Sadhya
Every Sunday, BDK organises Sneha Sadhya—an initiative aimed at feeding the needy. Members of
BDK gather at a common place, prepare food together, pack it, and distribute it at various
hospitals across each district.
Sponsors for Sneha Sadhya come from kind-hearted well-wishers around the world. This initiative
is carried out by BDK teams in most districts of Kerala.
Sneha Puthappu
Sneha Puthappu is an initiative focused on providing neat and tidy bed sheets to patients in government hospitals and palliative care units, ensuring dignity, comfort, and care during their treatment and recovery.
Sneha Kilukkam
Sneha Kilukkam is a heartfelt initiative aimed at bringing smiles to children affected by cancer. BDK collects toys and chocolates from its well-wishers and distributes them to children undergoing treatment at RCC, Trivandrum.
Onam Kit Distribution
BDK organises the distribution of Onam kits containing essential grocery items to underprivileged families. This initiative is carried out effectively with the generous support of well-wishers, ensuring festive joy reaches every home.
